Mother’s Day Celebration at HM Senior Secondary School
HM Senior Secondary School celebrated Mother’s Day on 8 May 2026 with great enthusiasm, warmth, and gratitude to honor the unconditional love and sacrifices of mothers. The school campus was beautifully decorated with flowers, balloons, and handmade cards prepared by the students to give a heartfelt welcome to all the mothers.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by a warm welcome address for the mothers. Students presented mesmerizing dance performances, melodious songs, and heartfelt speeches expressing their love, respect, and gratitude towards their mothers. A special ramp walk by the mothers added charm and excitement to the celebration, where they confidently walked with radiant smiles.
To make the event more engaging and joyful, several fun-filled activities and games, including Passing the Parcel and Memory Games, were organized. The lively participation of mothers created an atmosphere full of happiness and laughter. Teachers also presented a beautiful dance performance celebrating the unique and everlasting bond between mothers and children.
One of the most emotional moments of the event was when students presented handmade cards and small tokens of love to their mothers, making the occasion truly memorable for everyone present. The programme concluded with refreshments for all the guests.
The celebration ended with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by the respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Sunita Yadav, who appreciated the efforts of students, teachers, and parents for making the event grand and successful.
